You don't need a basement full of machines or an expensive gym membership to train your whole body at home. With six smart products, you'll cover everything: presses, pulls, legs, core, fitness and mobility. Here's the list – and why these six are enough.

A complete gym isn't about how much equipment you own, it's about how many movement patterns it covers. The body is best trained by pushing, pulling, bending at the hips and knees, working the core, and raising the heart rate. If your equipment can handle all of those things, you effectively have a complete gym – no matter how small it looks. These six products do just that, take up minimal space, and cost a fraction of a mechanical home gym.

The six products – and why they deserve their place If I could only afford 2 products, it would be product 1 & 2.

1. Suspension straps

Mainly trains: full body with your own body weight – push, pull and core.

Two straps on the ceiling or door, and suddenly your entire body weight can become resistance. By simply changing the angle of your foot, you can make the exercise easier or harder, making the band equally useful for beginners and experienced users. Rowing variations, push-ups, lunges and core exercises – all with a gadget that weighs a few hundred grams and fits in a drawer. It is the most versatile part of the entire set.

2. Mini band

Mainly trains: hips, buttocks, shoulders – and activation for heavier lifting.

The cheapest product on the list does a disproportionate amount of good. A small rubber band wakes up your butt and hips for squats, keeps your knees in line, and adds just the right amount of resistance for everything from side steps to shoulder exercises. Perfect for warming up, technique training, and those small muscles that are otherwise forgotten—and it fits in your pocket.

3. Adjustable dumbbells

Mainly trains: pure, progressive strength for the whole body.

This is the backbone of strength training. Adjustable dumbbells replace a whole rack of fixed weights and allow you to increase the load as you get stronger – absolutely crucial, because progression is what builds muscle. Press, row, squat, lunge, curl: almost every classic exercise can be done with a pair of dumbbells. The fact that they can be adjusted in seconds makes them unbeatable in a small space.

4. Weight bench

Mainly training: The bench is primarily for dumbbells so you can work with them smoothly.

The bench is universal for most exercises.

5. Kettlebells

Mainly trains: explosive strength, back and fitness at the same time.

The kettlebell is the Swiss Army knife of the home gym. The swing works the hip hinge, glutes and back while getting your heart rate up – strength and conditioning in one movement. Add goblet squats, deadlifts and presses and you have a full-body workout with a single lump of iron. A medium-weight kettlebell will take you surprisingly far.

6. Chin-up

Mainly trains: back, biceps and grip – the vertical pull.

The vertical pull is the single most difficult movement to do at home without the right equipment, which is why the chin-up is a must. Chin-ups and pull-ups build a strong back and biceps like few other exercises, and the bar also provides a base for hanging core exercises and (with the bands) assisted variations while you build strength. Without it, the set would have a hole; with it, the circle is complete.

Why these six are enough

Look at what they cover together, and you'll see the logic:

Press: dumbbells, kettlebells and suspension bands.

Pulls: chin-up, suspension bands and dumbbells.

Legs and hips: kettlebell, dumbbells and mini bands.

Core: suspension band, kettlebell and hanging bar exercises.

Activation and mobility: mini bands.

Six products and all the major movement patterns covered, minimal space. It's not a stripped-down gym - it's a complete gym without the excess.

With this combination, you can build strength, tone, and stay mobile without ever setting foot in a gym. You have your heavy, progressive strength in the dumbbells, your explosiveness and back in the kettlebell, your vertical pull in the bar, your versatile bodyweight training in the suspension band, your activation in the mini band.

A couple of optional extras (Nice to have)

Your list is more than enough for a complete workout. If you just want to make life a little more comfortable, there are two inexpensive additions worth mentioning: an exercise mat for floor exercises and stretching, and an exercise bike if you don't have the opportunity to walk. Neither of them is necessary they just make certain exercises more comfortable.

The conclusion

These six products are enough for a complete home gym. Suspension bands, mini bands, adjustable dumbbells, kettlebells, chin-ups, together they cover every movement pattern that matters – strength, conditioning, core and mobility in a space that few machine gyms come close to. Start with what you already have, add one purchase at a time, and learn the basics of each tool before you pull up the weights. A complete gym doesn't have to be big. It just needs to be well thought out.

9998:- for the entire complete gym?

Yes, that's actually true. We've negotiated a price for our members in the app. Best of all, you get all these products for 9998:- + shipping. Sure, 10,000:- is still a lot of money, but if you compare it to a gym membership, it's earned in no time .

All the best, Kennet Båth
