What you can drink during the 16 hours you do not eat food is the following;
Water
All foods and beverages that contain calories are avoided when fasting. Be sure to get enough water in you. Water, both plain and bubble water, is a good choice.
Aim to drink around two liters of water daily. It is a good habit to start each day with two dl of water to make sure you get enough water when the day begins. Squeeze some lemon or lime as a seasoning if you like. Otherwise, you can add a few slices of orange or cucumber to a water carafe for a little flavor, and then enjoy the water during the day.
You can dilute apple cider vinegar in water and then drink, it can help stabilize blood sugar. However, sweeteners and dyes are prohibited. All forms of Light Extract or similar should not be added to the water.
Tea
All types of tea are excellent, including green, black, oolong and herbal teas. Tea can often be mixed for variety, and they can be enjoyed both hot and cold.
You can use spices like cinnamon and nutmeg to flavor your tea. Adding a little cream or milk is also allowed (even though it is technically a bit cheating). Sugar, sweeteners or seasonings are not allowed.
Green tea can be a particularly good choice, as the catechins in it are believed to suppress hunger.
Coffee Coffee, both regular and decaffeinated, is also allowed. A little cream or milk is also allowed, even though it contains a few calories, but I feel that you can do without eating my advice not to use it. Spices such as cinnamon can also be added, but not sweeteners, sugar or artificial flavors. On hot days, iced coffee is a good choice. Coffee probably also has many health benefits.
