WHY INTERMITTENT FASTING - IT´S SO SIMPLE!

Diets are usually full of rules and usually conflict with each other. Eat less fat. Eat more fat. Eat less carbohydrates. Eat more carbs. Eat less protein. Eat more protein. Eat more fiber. Eat an herbal diet. Eat a meat-based diet. Eat less sugar. Most diets are controlled by money in most cases.

In the 1980s, all forms of fats were thought to cause heart disease. In the 21st century, certain forms of fat were considered 'good for the heart'. By the 2020s, most forms of natural fats, such as butter, olive oil, oily fish, etc., are considered fairly healthy foods.

This constant change of scientific opinions makes it difficult for the average person to know what to eat and what not to eat. Many people do not understand the differences between carbohydrates, fats and proteins. So when people try to follow a low fat or low carb or high fat (Keto) diet or a high protein diet it is not always clear exactly which foods to eat. Furthermore, many people's diets have not changed significantly in 40 years, and it is not easy to change an old habit!

Instead of completely changing people's diets, it is much easier to understand another approach as periodic fasting. It is so simple that it can be explained in two sentences. Do not eat during the fasting period. Drink if you are thirsty - water, tea and herbal tea or coffee without sugar or sweeteners. That's all. The simpler something is, the more efficient.

Why does not everyone then use intermittent fasting if it is so simple and so good? Maybe the simple explanation is that there is no money in intermittent fasting, no special products you have to buy, thereby also no advertising that tells you that this you just have to shop! Maybe it's that simple?
