THE ENEGY INCREASE UNDER INTERMITTENT FASTING


When most people feel weak, they often take an energy bar, banana or whatever is easiest to put in their mouth. Most people hope that this gives them energy because they believe that energy only comes through the foods they eat. But what if we told you that your energy increases significantly during periodic fasting? Crazy, right?

When we eat something, it means work for our bodies. The food consumed must be digested and the minerals and nutrients must be broken down. So eating can actually use energy and make us tired after certain meals, especially heavier meals.

Apart from getting energy from food, there are other ways that our bodies get energy. If you fast long enough, the body is forced to use its stored energy. Our bodies prefer to use the stored glucose in our liver for energy, but after this has been used, energy from our stored fat is used.

When you start the solid window, the body first takes energy from all the food you have eaten, then it uses energy from stored glucose in the liver.

After about 14 hours without food intake, the body begins to use energy from its stored fat by burning adipose tissue to get enough energy. Your insulin levels drop every hour when you fast as less and less energy is taken from existing glucose stored in the liver.

The result: Enough energy and you reduce your body fat!

Not only that, energy from adipose tissue is more potent than from glucose, which makes your brain work better. This leads to increased concentration and better memory. In addition, many researchers believe that the risk of developing diseases such as Alzheimer's and dementia is reduced.

When you start with intermittent fasting, the body expects to still get food to give it energy. It takes some time for your body to adjust and learn that it will not starve. When this happens, the body will get used to the fixed window and you will get more and more energy and feel more alive than ever before!
