Lack of motivation is common for many reasons. Motivation can trigger a number of emotions, making it difficult to be motivated.
Some of the common motivational problems that people face are:
1. Unsupportive social environment
Your social environment is your physical and social environment (home, family, friends, etc.). Many do not realize the importance and influence of a social environment.
If you try to get on the right track and hear something like "Oh, you do not have to, let's go out and get ice cream", your motivation to do the right thing will be affected.
2. Very hard work for a slow result
Of course, when you exercise 5 times a week and count your calories carefully, you want to see more than 1 pound lost. Keep in mind that normal and healthy weight loss is on average 1 kilo per week - about 7000 calories burned is one kilo of weight loss.
3. Injuries
Many people suffer from injuries that reduce their ability to train. However, you should consider low impact exercises and modifications to your workout to stay injury free.
Discussing workouts with your doctor can be helpful. Of course you can get hurt, but do not lose motivation!
4. Desires
You will have desires, and that's ok! Even the healthiest people have desires. When the desire strikes, think carefully about what triggered the desire.
Is your craving cookies? Bake them at home so you can change and check the recipe for your meal.
5. Healthy food is expensive
There is some truth and some lies here. Healthy food can be a little expensive. But if you eat more of a plant-based diet (fruits, vegetables, grains, etc.) the cost will not increase almost anything
6. Lack of time for training
If you really want to lose weight is what you intend to achieve, then you need to try to find some time. You need to schedule and coordinate your day to day to include exercise. For days when you can not exercise, make choices that force you to move a little more. Park your car a little further away and walk a little further, take the stairs instead of the elevator, do squats while you cook and / or do sit-ups during TV commercial breaks.
