HOW TO LOWER YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE NATURALLY

High blood pressure is caused by several risk factors, including genetics, stress, age, obesity, smoking and dietary choices. Excessive sodium intake is the cause of almost a third of all cases of high blood pressure.

Blood pressure is a measure of how strongly the blood flowing through the body presses against the veins and arteries through which the blood flows. When this force remains constantly high, the blood vessels are more likely to be damaged, which contributes to an increased risk of disease and premature death. The highest number of blood pressure readings tells the force of the blood against the artery walls when your heart beats. It is called systolic pressure. The lowest number tells you what your blood pressure is when your heart is at rest between heartbeats. It is called diastolic pressure.

Because insulin is the most important fat-storing hormone in the body, too much insulin can lead to obesity. High insulin levels can also lead to increased fluid and salt in the body, which increases blood pressure. In addition, high levels of insulin can thicken the tissue around the blood vessels, which can also contribute to high blood pressure. Therefore, it makes sense to reduce insulin levels greatly.

Today, the usual treatment for high blood pressure is medication. In some cases, this is reasonable. But what if you could instead achieve perfect blood pressure without pills or side effects with improved health and weight as an added bonus?

Intermittent fasting reduces insulin and improves weight loss, both of which can improve blood pressure. Studies show that Intermittent fasting is associated with decreased systolic blood pressure.

Blood pressure can also sometimes be lowered by avoiding the things that drive it up. Here are some common causes of high blood pressure:

- Common painkillers can increase your blood pressure by inhibiting salt production in your kidneys. This includes over-the-counter pills such as Ibuprofen, as well as prescription drugs.

- Painkillers with the active substance paracetamol are better for your blood pressure.

- Alcohol in large quantities

- Nicotine (smoking, other forms of tobacco)

- Drugs such as amphetamines and cocaine

This does not mean that you should stop drinking alcohol completely; but if you drink in large volumes, it may be wise to reduce your intake. On the other hand, it is always a good idea to quit smoking completely: getting rid of your smoking is great for your health in general, not just your blood pressure.
